Through its partnership with Fair Play For Planet and the Green Zone program, French professional handball is making a commitment to the environment.

The environment, ecology and eco-responsibility are all themes that are now at the heart of professional handball. Earlier this week, the French Handball League signed a partnership agreement with Fair Play For Planet. The agreement signed aims to develop the eco-responsibility of the League and its clubs. The partnership, which is part of a long-term approach, will initially take the form of an audit of the ecological footprint of the NHL and its clubs. "Fair Play For Planet is proud to count, with the Ligue Nationale de Handball, a second professional league among its partners. We look forward to working with them to develop the eco-responsibility of men's professional handball," explains Julien Pierre, former top-level rugby player and now head of Fair Play For Planet.
